Covet House would like to share with you the color trends of 2020. Choosing the right color for a division was never an easy task to accomplish. Whether in a wall covering, or furniture or contemporary home accessories, colors play an essential role due to their psychological meaning and character in each interior design project. This article is brought to you in partnership with Trendbook.
#1 – Neo Mint
The WGSN, a world leader in forecasting trends, defined that this year one of the main bets for those working with art, decoration and architecture is Neo Mint. Described as a soft, relaxing and minty green tone, this color aligns technology with Nature, in addition to being futuristic and modern.
For interior decoration, Neo Mint can be used in any type of environment, from the ceiling to a two-color wall. In furniture, it can be complemented with simple or more elaborate lines. To create a futuristic environment, one option is to use it with shades of the same palette, such as lighter or darker greens.
#2 – Honey Yellow
Pure yellow is the color of the creatives and this toned-down shade is no different. After the Gen-Z Yellow trend, Honey Yellow brings the enthusiasm and cheerfulness of the former without the high energy.
Honey Yellow is an earthy shade, featuring gold tones, that has the natural prowess of easily complementing other warm colors, such as brown, green and red as well as neutral tones.
