"Studio

Some interiors impress the eye. Others linger quietly in the mind, unfolding like a favorite novel long after you’ve left. Studio Shamshiri belongs firmly to the latter. Founded by siblings Pamela and Ramin Shamshiri, the Los Angeles-based practice has become synonymous with spaces that resist trends in favor of emotion, history, and authenticity. Rather than treating design as an exercise in perfection, the studio approaches every project as a living narrative, layering architecture, craftsmanship, art, and personal stories into environments that feel deeply human.

""

At the heart of Studio Shamshiri’s philosophy lies the belief that a home should evolve alongside its inhabitants. Their projects reject the polished uniformity that has come to dominate digital culture, replacing it with interiors that celebrate patina, collected objects, vintage discoveries, and bespoke craftsmanship. Every material is chosen not simply for its appearance but for the way it ages, the memories it can hold, and the atmosphere it creates. The result is a timeless aesthetic where imperfection becomes a form of luxury.

""

This sensitivity extends beyond decoration into architecture itself. Whether restoring a historic residence or shaping a contemporary retreat, Studio Shamshiri respects the soul of every building before adding its own voice. Existing structures are never erased but carefully interpreted, allowing original details to coexist with modern interventions. Warm woods, sculptural stone, artisanal textiles, and carefully curated furnishings create interiors that feel effortlessly balanced—spaces where history and innovation engage in a quiet conversation.

""

""

""

Perhaps what distinguishes Studio Shamshiri most is its remarkable ability to design for people rather than for photographs. Every room is conceived around rituals, routines, and emotional experiences instead of visual spectacle alone. A reading corner is positioned to catch the afternoon light; a dining room encourages long conversations; a hallway becomes a gallery of meaningful objects collected over decades. The studio’s work reminds us that exceptional interiors are measured not only by aesthetics but also by the lives they quietly enrich.

""

Their portfolio spans private residences, boutique hospitality projects, creative workspaces, and cultural collaborations, yet a consistent signature emerges throughout: understated elegance with extraordinary depth. There is no reliance on fleeting color trends or decorative excess. Instead, Studio Shamshiri builds environments rich in texture, proportion, craftsmanship, and narrative, proving that true luxury often whispers rather than shouts. Each project feels simultaneously personal and universal, grounded in the belief that design should foster comfort, curiosity, and connection.

""

In an era increasingly defined by instant gratification and algorithm-driven aesthetics, Studio Shamshiri offers an inspiring alternative. Their work invites us to slow down, observe the subtle beauty of natural materials, and appreciate interiors that become richer with time. More than creating beautiful spaces, the studio crafts places where memories accumulate naturally—homes and environments that feel lived in from the very beginning and continue telling new stories with every passing year.
