Oceania<\/strong><\/em> has definitely made an impression in what comes to home decor<\/strong><\/em> and now it\u2019s time for us to tell you about what happened between the 19th and 22nd of July at the Australian International Furniture Fair<\/strong><\/em>. For 15 years, this design event<\/strong><\/em> has been inspiring us \u2013 let\u2019s check it out.<\/p>\n

\"AIFF:<\/a><\/p>\n

Decor + Design<\/strong>, another design event in Melbourne, occurred in parallel with AIFF. Besides being an equally inspiring fair<\/strong>, it made the experience much more intense for decor lovers in Australia. A singular voice for the contemporary design<\/strong> panorama, Decor + Design has always been an obligatory stop.<\/p>\n

\"AIFF:<\/a><\/p>\n

In 2017, both shows attracted over 11,500 visitors from Australia and from other parts of the world, gathering more than 300 Australian design brands<\/strong>. The bar was raised for this edition and AIFF continues to grow on an impressive scale. Some things are just meant to be special.<\/p>\n

\"AIFF:<\/a><\/p>\n

One of its main highlights was the VIVID Design Awards<\/strong>, Australia\u2019s longest-running design competition\u00a0of AIFF and Decor + Design.\u00a0These awards promote and help celebrate the promising work of emerging Australian designers that showcase their furniture<\/strong> and\u00a0lighting <\/strong>designs\u00a0at the fair. It\u2019s all about the experience itself.<\/p>\n

AIFF is also a symbol of craftsmanship<\/strong>, by\u00a0dedicating an area to foster and grow Australian furniture, its designers and makers (AIFF Loves Homemade), and by\u00a0delivering an outstanding line up of international and domestic\u00a0design thought leaders (The International Seminar Series). We now have a smile upon our faces and we are already waiting for the next year\u2019s edition!<\/p>\n
