Darcy Bonner was born in Dallas, Texas<\/strong>. He received a Bachelor of Architecture & Masters<\/strong> from Tulane University<\/strong> in 1976 and his second Masters of Architecture<\/strong> from the University of Illinois<\/strong> in Chicago in 1980. A recipient of the Young Architect Award<\/strong> from The American Institute of Architects<\/strong>, Bonner was also the winner of the International Chair Competition<\/strong> with his design for a Wearable Chair<\/strong>.\u00a0 His designs have been exhibited in multiple museums across the United States including the Art Institute of Chicago<\/strong>, the Smithsonian<\/strong> and the Walker Art Center.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Darcy opened his Architectural<\/strong> and Interior Design<\/strong> office in 1980 and began a furniture line<\/strong>, Mattaliano<\/strong>, in 1985 with showrooms in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Miami,<\/strong> and San Francisco<\/strong>.\u00a0 Mattaliano furnishings have been installed in multiple residential<\/strong> and commercial spaces<\/strong> including The Obama White House<\/strong>, Four Season Hotels, Wynn Las Vegas, Neiman Marcus, Ritz Carlton Residences<\/strong> and the Offices of Architectural Digest.<\/strong><\/p>\n
