{"id":650,"date":"2016-03-23T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-03-23T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/covethouse.eu\/blog-teste\/meet-the-tubular-tree-house-by-aibek-almassov\/"},"modified":"2020-10-30T09:01:00","modified_gmt":"2020-10-30T09:01:00","slug":"meet-the-tubular-tree-house-by-aibek-almassov","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.covethouse.eu\/blog\/meet-the-tubular-tree-house-by-aibek-almassov\/","title":{"rendered":"MEET THE TUBULAR TREE HOUSE BY AIBEK ALMASSOV"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em><strong>MEET THE TUBULAR TREE HOUSE BY AIBEK ALMASSOV<\/strong> <\/em>\u2013 A mature fir tree would be\u00a0enclosed at the centre of this conceptual tubular glass house by Kazakh architect Aibek Almassov, which may finally become a reality now that potential investors have been found.\u00a0Tree in the House is designed by Almassov of A Masow Architects\u00a0as an inverted treehouse, intended to provide an escape from the \u201csweltering concrete boxes\u201d of city life.\u00a0It features a\u00a0completely glazed and cylindrical structure to give 360-degree-views of a\u00a0forest setting.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/essentialhome.eu\/landing\/download-catalogue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" title=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/essentialhome.eu\/images\/ext-campaign\/article\/eh-download-catalogue-750.jpg\" width=\"750\" height=\"130\" alt=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30425 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.covethouse.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/1-17.jpg\" alt=\"MEET THE TUBULAR TREE HOUSE BY AIBEK ALMASSOV\" width=\"690\" height=\"492\"><\/p>\n<p>An investor was initially secured when the project was first designed in 2013, but they subsequently pulled out and it seemed the project would never be completed.\u00a0But\u00a0a glass and solar panel manufacturer is now interested, according to Almassov, so construction could be imminent.\u00a0\u201cReally it\u2019s not so difficult to build it,\u201d he told Dezeen, \u201cthe problem was to find an investor.\u201d\u00a0\u201cAt the moment, we have found two of the investors,\u201d he added. \u201cOne of them has owns a factory for the production of glass with transparent solar panels. He is interested in this project so we are negotiating right now with him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30426 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.covethouse.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/2-15.jpg\" alt=\"MEET THE TUBULAR TREE HOUSE BY AIBEK ALMASSOV\" width=\"690\" height=\"492\"><\/p>\n<p>Renderings show the\u00a0tubular building\u00a0residing in a woodland clearing with its uppermost storeys rising above the tree canopy \u2013 although the project is not bound to any particular location.\u00a0\u201cThe main purpose of this project is to offer an alternative to the bustle of city life,\u201d\u00a0said the architect.\u00a0\u201cWe wanted to combine the capabilities of modern industrial design and the natural wealth and beauty.\u201d\u00a0\u201cAnd more importantly it doesn\u2019t harm to environment,\u201d he added. \u201cThis is an opportunity to escape from the sweltering concrete boxes and feel the present unity with nature.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>See also:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.covethouse.eu\/interior-design-trends-for-2016-from-kelly-hoppen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" title=\"\">Interior Design Trends For 2016 From Kelly Hoppen<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30427 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.covethouse.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/3-15.jpg\" alt=\"MEET THE TUBULAR TREE HOUSE BY AIBEK ALMASSOV\" width=\"690\" height=\"492\"><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0glazed walls and ceiling will reveal four narrow ring-shaped floors, as well as a spiralling white staircase that wraps around the trunk of the tree.\u00a0Glazed balustrades with wooden railings will surround the atrium on each level so as not to block the views.\u00a0\u201cClimbing the stairs [in this] unusual <span class=\"il\">house<\/span> can be compared with the stages of spiritual purification, enlightenment, harmonising with the environment,\u201d said Almassov.\u00a0Images show the\u00a0boughs of the tree extending outwards towards the glazed walls and roof, encroaching on the minimal floor space.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-30428 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.covethouse.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/4-15.jpg\" alt=\"MEET THE TUBULAR TREE HOUSE BY AIBEK ALMASSOV\" width=\"690\" height=\"492\"><\/p>\n<p>An\u00a0entirely glass shower cubicle mirrors the tubular form\u00a0of the building, while other parts of the conceptual residence\u00a0are seen dressed with\u00a0free-standing furniture that follows the curving walls.\u00a0Almaty-based A.Masow Architects previously created a set of photo-realistic renderings of a concrete house that balances over a hillside in Kazakhstan.
