Her chief mentor and greatest inspiration was her grandfather, property developer Sir Lawrie Barratt. Sir Barratt founded one of the largest residential property development companies in the UK in 1958, Barratt Homes, which has since inspired her to establish four very successful businesses. Fiona, now with 17 years experience in the industry, trained at London\u2019s Chelsea College of Art followed by Parsons School of Design in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.covethouse.eu\/inspirations\/the-best-75-interior-designers-of-new-york\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=article-image&amp;utm_content=covethouseblog-toinspire-topid-fionabarrattoneofbr&amp;utm_campaign=citybycity&amp;utm_term=mmachado\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>New York<\/strong><\/a>.
