The designer studied art worked as a fashion and lifestyle stylist, and always found herself attracted to beautiful architecture. She grew up in a home where design and decoration were celebrated, so it was almost inevitable that she would find a career as an Interior Designer.<\/p>\n

A steady stream of residential and commercial projects caught the attention of Gwyneth Paltrow\u2019s goop, which sought her out for collaboration in Chicago<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a><\/span>. The same year she was enlisted to reinvigorate Baker Furniture\u2019s Milling Road line and debuted a collection of furniture that blurred the lines between classical and contemporary<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a><\/span>. Kara would go on to work with the Baker team again in 2020, this time creating a line for McGuire Furniture. The collection leans into McGuire\u2019s traditional artisan hand but with a Kara Mann<\/strong><\/em> edge.<\/p>\n

Whilst continuing to expand her portfolio of luxury residential projects across the US, Kara Mann<\/strong><\/em> founded and launch KEPT, a line of utilitarian home products that takes a fresh approach to home-keeping.<\/p>\n
