Mariette is known as a <em><strong>modernist<\/strong> <strong>with a luxurious edge<\/strong><\/em> and has been at the forefront of her profession for over 30 years. Gomez Associates\u2019 work has been widely published in <em><strong>The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, House Beautiful<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>Town &amp; Country<\/strong><\/em>. Her father even built her dollhouse modeled after the brownstone she grew up in. <em>\u201cI remember being so excited because the house was wired for electricity. So I was selecting sconces and chandeliers at the age of six.\u201d,<\/em> she says. When her mother presented her with swatches for a duvet it was clear that she had a more sophisticated approach towards the age-old question, what is my favorite color? Recently, she completed a project for Michael J. Fox and Sigourney Weaver as well as a total gut <a href=\"https:\/\/www.covethouse.eu\/modern-eclectic-home-decor-by-ptang-studio-limited-and-covet-house\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=article-image&amp;utm_content=covethouseblog-topmarkets22&amp;utm_campaign=topID&amp;utm_term=mmachado1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>townhouse<\/strong><\/a> renovation in Greenwich Village. She also participated in Bravo\u2019s second season of <em>Bethenny Ever After<\/em>, designing Bethenny Frankel\u2019s Tribeca loft.
