Boca do Lobo

A Fascinating and Memorable Creation – Casa Décor Madrid, Portuguese Embassy in Madrid

Held in Casa Décor Madrid Portuguese Embassy in Madrid, it all started with a challenge that was brought up by AICEP to the Spanish interior designer Pepe Leal. After taking it, Pepe´s main goal was to break up with the conceived idea that Portugal is old fashioned and rustic, highlighting the fact that it is a country where tradition and topicality go along with peace and quality.
From the ceilings, passing through the walls and floor, until the décor itself, each and every detail came from Portugal in the creation of a Lusitano Corner.

Pepe Leal is the protagonist in the conception of this project. Passionate for our country, he is one of the most renowned Interior Designer in Spain. He considers Portugal to be “sophisticated and elegant” and believes that extraordinary things are made here, things that people from Spain are not aware of.

He carefully selected Portuguese historic and significant materials, like cork, blue tiles and pink marble, so that he would be able to reflect perfectly the Portuguese culture and the kind of luxury furniture that has been made in Portugal. The rich handcrafted Portuguese tradition walks hand in hand with the modern design of its industry in this Pepe Leal´s creation. The display puts together various atmospheres towards a greater chance to show a wider variety of products. A perfect and glamorous fusion between traditional and contemporary style reflects exactly what Portugal represents in this industry nowadays. All luxury furniture pieces were flawlessly selected, among them you can find: Heritage Sideboard by Boca do Lobo, Brubuck Suspension Light by Delightful, and other countless brands like Urban Mint, Ginger and Jagger, Munna, Newterracota.
Everything happened in Madrid, the capital city of Spain and the perfect place to toss new trends as it is a golden mine of Interior Designers. With a cosmopolitan and sophisticated lifestyle, Madrid is also a splendid brand display for tourists from all over the world.
This journey has just begun in Madrid but it is not over yet. The possibility of taking this idea to other countries is open so lets look forward to it and appreciate the first time of this Country Brand concept at the Casa Décor 2016 exhibition.

Luxury Residence in Italian Countryside by DELIGHTFULL

Italy is full of charm and beautiful architecture. With this design project we take part of that history.
The interior design of this Luxury Italian Countryside Residence is an exquisite combination of classic and contemporary style.
In this private Italian Residence, developed by Ukrainian interior designers Vitaliy Yurov and Iryna Dzhemesiuk, you can feel the airiness of the space through bright and vivid colors. Modern furniture and unique lamps with classic techniques are used to tell a history and mark the passage of time and innovation that turns this apartment into an incomparable interior design master piece.
Artistic intarsia design of the parquet, golden pieces of modern furniture and high class design lamps make unimaginable and unexpected details in combination with the beautiful old architecture of the space and the vaulted ceiling creates a unique and unforgettable atmosphere.

As we step into the different rooms we see the love that interior designers brought into the design project.
With luxury furniture brands like Minotti, Poltrona Frau, Kristalia, Amuneal shelving system is easy to imagine the precision and challenge that designers took under their ”wings”.
The young and dinamic duo of interior designers chose lighting from DelightFULL, Flos and Hive.
Near the fireplace we can see Hanna Floor Lamp and in the ceiling of the recreational space the combination with Hanna Pendant Lamp gives it a unique style.
In the dinning are we can enjoy the warmth color with the art work and once more the dominance of the lamps with the two Brubeck Suspension Lamps combined with
Brubeck Wall Lamps that we can also see in the Bathroom area together with DelightFULL sister brands Maison Valetina and Boca do Lobo as and extenton of extreme luxury.
“Interaction with the client is very important. We usually work in contemporary styles such as minimalism, loft, eclecticism. Based on this the client comes to us for these stylistic directions. Our goal is to make not just a beautiful picture but also a comfortable space for each specific customer considering his lifestyle, habits etc. Before we begin to develop the design projects we discuss and carefully explore our client’s wishes, his action scenario in the space. During each stage we keep a close relationship with him. We have one common goal, and we both are interested in getting a good result.”
“Each design projects for us is an individual story. But we always follow certain principles. Our interiors are comfortable spaces with natural materials and well-designed details. Aesthetics and functionality are inseparable. We like to combine different styles, forms and materials. It is a contemporary style in which we often use techniques from different ages.”
