Maison et Objet's The Talks: Design Is Also About Culture and Sharing
Maison et Objet’s The Talks mean a turning point in the design world – besides all the exhibitors that reinvent the concept of interiors every year, The Talks are an initiative that promotes the educational side of design and the exchange of cultural experiences within the industry. Yesterday, we attended a very special conference at The Talks – Portugal: El Dorado Archi, Design and Craft – and we would like to share this encounter with you.

Joana Astolfi, Jacques Bec, Artur Miranda and Amândio Pereira were the speakers that guided us in this compelling voyage through the constellations of Portuguese arts and crafts, with Guy-Claude Agboton as moderator. It was a magnificent tribute to all makers for their wisdom, storytelling and history with beautiful creations through ancient techniques and raw materials.
The goal of this conference was to inspire and to elevate design and craftsmanship, converging in unforgettable moments of cultural sharing. Definitely one of the highlights of 2019 so far, we hope to repeat this experience in the near future. Thank you all for the support.
