The owners of EYBL Tailored Interiors, Christian and Dagmar Reichel and their daughter Chiara, come from a dynasty with around 200 years of family history in the home textile and furnishing industry.

As early as 1825, their ancestors started retailing and wholesaling textiles in Wels, and this was followed by textile processing and the production of carpets and terry goods. The great-grandfather, KR Friedrich Reichel, commissioned fabrics to be manufactured, woven, dyed and printed. In the course of a shopping trip to the Orient, he imported textiles and oriental carpets to Austria in 1902. After the Second World War, the first worsted fabrics were imported from England.

As a textile industrialist, the grandfather, Dkfm. Heinrich Reichel, the first tufted carpets in Europe in the Wels textile factory. In addition to fabrics, plush and terry goods were also woven in the weaving mill. The grandfather also introduced the trade in antiques and carpets.

Chiara Reichel heads the interior design team and has successfully planned and implemented interior projects in the residential, office, hotel, catering and retail sectors. She grew up in the company and, as a child, she was at her parents’ side at design fairs and customer meetings. After experience in other companies and studies in London and Berlin, she completed a master’s degree at the Diplomatic Academy, which gave her an all-around education and a large international network. Chiara particularly enjoys the direct customer contact and the development of interior concepts that exceed expectations.

EYBL Tailored Interiors‘ 20-strong team consists of creative architects, ambitious interior experts, experienced fitters and a strong back office.
