PointsBet

PointsBet, a premier global sportsbook operator based in Australia, selected Abel Design Group Denver to design the new flagship US headquarters (HQ) based in Denver, Colorado. PointsBet’s Denver HQ will serve as the company’s western base of US operations, maintaining a focus on product innovation, development, and technology recruitment. The 17,000 square foot PointsBet office located in the LoDo area of downtown Denver balances Scandinavian design with inspiration from the many sports that help power the PointsBet product.

The Thompson Houston Hotel

Abel Design Group was selected to design The Thompson Houston Hotel guest rooms and public spaces, and The Residences at The Allen luxury condominiums. Abel Design Group was selected to design The Residences at The Allen Sales Gallery, a center that allows future residents of The Residences at The Allen to experience the room types and select finishes.

Mastro’s Manhattan

Wholly owned by Landry’s Inc., Mastro’s is a collection of upscale steak and seafood restaurants located across the country. Abel Design Group was selected for the design and the interior architecture goal of this project was for the Abel Design Group (ADG) team to transform an existing lease space into a new Manhattan location. The ADG team selected the interior finishes for the new 9,273 SF restaurant. The design team blended modern materials with warm accents to give the restaurant a flair distinct from its counterparts in Malibu, Houston, and Chicago.

Newfield Exploration Executive Floor

Abel Design Group worked hand-in-hand with Newfield Exploration to design the executive floor, level 9. The Newfield Exploration Company executive floor includes offices, meeting areas, break areas, and more, but what makes this project unique is the custom-created art and even carpet. This floor is one of the many projects completed for Newfield – including a conference center, fitness center, office area, and more. To create one of the featured pieces, the design team was there to select the piece of material taken out of the ground, cut, polished, and created to be on display.

The Residences at The Allen Sales Gallery

The Allen is a $500 million mixed-use development comprising six acres of prime Houston real estate. The project includes The Allen Hotel Condo Tower. Levels 1-15 of The Allen Hotel Condo Tower will include 172 premier hotel rooms by Award-Winning Thompson Hotels by Hyatt Corporation, The Thompson Houston Hotel; and Levels 16-35 will include the luxury condominiums, The Residences at The Allen.

 

Nova Chemicals

The two open office areas converge into a centrally located break and lounge area. The lounge features an assortment of plush, soft seating while the break room has several reconfigurable break tables. Both spaces feature banquettes and colorful wall coverings and are strategically located along a window to offer a view of the city. A large island connects the breakroom and lounge as well as offers a large enough surface for company-wide catering services and office potlucks.

Strato 550

Abel Design Group was selected to design Strato 550, a restaurant and conference center on the 43rd floor of 1415 Louisiana (the building formerly known as Wedge International Tower). 550 feet above sea level, the restaurant and conference center offer a near 360-degree view of downtown Houston. The restaurant includes a dining area that can be partitioned for private dining and a bar lounge area.
