Private Relaxed Sanctuary

For a high profile, previously established client, Alene Workman’s team knew this young family was often on the move from location to location. As their personal estate, it was important to create a home to enjoy their private lifestyle. Bridging contemporary and transitional themes, the design team set the stage with the drama of deep, rich wood tones, fused with soft greys and whites, adding interesting unique materials and bespoke finishes, making this home, the sanctuary the client so needed to relax into their own world.

Dynamic Lakeside Residence

To begin this new construction waterfront home, the design team wanted to embrace, not overwhelm, the dramatic water views in a warm, understated, and beautiful manner for an existing client. Reflecting both the exterior and interior, the team chose a monochromatic palette, incorporating natural stone cladding with stained teak wood, creating a modern, dynamic interior, highlighted with colors in amber, light grays, and soft beiges, to blend effortlessly with its surrounding.

Art Infused Waterfront Estate

The existing stately waterfront home with beautiful architectural detailing, needed refreshing, redesigning and renovation to discover its hidden grandeur, for a client wanting to highlight their outstanding modern art collection in a comfortable living environment. Alene Workman’s team infused the traditional shell with modern elements while incorporating a new color palette, updating lighting, and replacing all furnishings with unique pieces, to reflect their vision to live in a relaxed, creatively inspired home.

Miami Modern Penthouse

The 9,000 sq ft new penthouse home with breathtaking ocean views, was a loving project for the client. The team successfully orchestrated and incorporated the clients’ specific needs into a beautiful Miami modern residence. Harmony is achieved with perfect scale and balance, in each space, using rich woods to soften the full glass walls. Dramatic ceiling designs highlighted with accent lighting, are combined with sumptuous finishes and furnishings.

Beachfront Modern Art Deco

Understanding the client’s appreciation for art deco architecture, the design team revised the interior layout to incorporate the client’s art pieces, adding proper lighting to display the collections. Ceilings and marble floor patterns were designed to enhance the architectural features. Materials are lush and rich to achieve the vision for this primary residence.

Casual Contemporary Renovation

When a dynamic young couple decided to enlarge and totally renovate their home, Alene Workman’s team reflected on creating a warm, family-oriented contemporary lifestyle environment. In this new open floor plan, they immediately understood the need for space definition to create areas of relaxation and entertainment. A floor to ceiling dining area buffet was added, finished in pearwood with Macassar ebony and onyx. Warm and luxurious materials echo comfort and relaxation throughout the home.
