Bannenberg & Rowell: A Fresh Approach To Modern Yacht Design
Bannenberg & Rowell is the direct descendant of the convention-breaking studio established by Jon Bannenberg – the universally acknowledged father of modern yacht design – in the early 1960s. Dickie Bannenberg and Simon Rowell continue the vision of the founder, and lead the design team in new directions: working with all the major shipyards; designing residences for private clients and real estate developers; collaborating with furniture designers, and developing other creative partnerships.
Whilst Bannenberg & Rowell Design may be a little less discreet these days, they remain right at the front of any self-respecting design black book. Their work is eclectic, original and approachable: their aim is always to create the freshest and most creative work around. With a long history of ground-breaking designs emerging from the drawing boards (and computers) in the studio, they are working with leading shipyards with three exteriors of the new B&R era afloat, and others in build. They have worked in all the major shipbuilding countries and a few others besides.
Bannenberg & Rowell designs yacht interiors and exteriors but also undertakes residential design, private jet design and even bespoke furniture design. Moreover, concepts and collaborations have seen Bannenberg & Rowell work with leading superyacht builders Lürssen, Benetti, Oceanco, Nobiskrug and many others. Bannenberg & Rowell have won five World Superyacht Awards for yacht interiors including the superyachts Lady Petra and Galactica Star.

This elegant bar chair features a large bow back rail that’s held by languid spindles that drip solid metal from the apron up, while the legs are lavishly curved creating a visual effect that defies the laws of physics. The seat is available in different fabrics and colors to better suit any upscale lounge area or private bar.
Algerone Dining Chair
Algerone Dining Chair was designed as a neutral element for any sophisticated dining room area. Grey synthetic leather dresses its structure while brass and wood details introduce a sense of modernity and timelessness.
