On yet another amazing partnership with Covet House, Karim Abdul Muttalib from K.A. Interior Design developed a deluxe living room design incorporating the 16th-century French regal vibe into an Arabic aesthetic. The artsy decoration is reminiscent of a French Chateau from royalty and nobility combined with highly contemporary and modern classic elements and furniture. Gold finishes allow the living room to be raised to luxury status, while the furniture and accessory pieces play a preponderant role in elevating it to art.
The extravagant Versailles Sofa was inspired by the Versailles Palace’s inventiveness and lavish ornamentation. Boca do Lobo ushers in a new era of creativity and the urge to bring grandiose ideas to reality, making it not only the centerpiece of this living room but also the one that blends the decoration and utility to perfection.

Marbles and golds are two materials characteristic of an Arabic aesthetic, so the Navarra Center Table also from Boca do Lobo, was the right choice for this design. The rich color background set off by thick and thin veins alike carries the eyes to the top of this table, framed by brass. A modern classic piece that blends organic shapes with organic ones, closely bringing the overall look together with the architecture of the living room.

Taking center stage as well is the Couple Rug from Rug’Society, which contrasts with the harshness and coldness of the marbles and metals, bringing softness and chicness to the area. Exquisitely designed, the rug also brings a certain aura of romanticism, mystery, and magic to the room, the same feelings you get from the French decoration and architecture.

Finally, also bringing comfort and softness is the Essex Armchair from Brabbu, a barrel chair upholstered in velvet and has a base in aged brass matte that adds charisma to it. This armchair adds a refined elegance to the living room set, by its soft and soothing velvet.
