The interior design project was for a client who has a luxury home in Dubai. The brief for the design project was masculine, with drama, but also glamorous.
Celia chose the materials herself, which almost all featured black marble with gold fleck throughout to give the drama and masculine look that the client really wanted.
REVISIT COVET VALLEY
A house that kept its origins intact and, at the same time, a showroom that perfectly embodies the mid-century modern style
The interior designer used a lot of mirror and glass textures near and on walls, to reflect light and the landscape outside, and created pools of light to add drama and also daytime lighting to the interior design.
Celia Sawyer also imported a large full-sized real skeleton of an Arabian Horse, and Arabian gentleman and a Shahin bird of prey which were in 24k gold. These were on loan to the design firm from Stephen Cawston an upcoming artist who is causing a stir in the design world at the moment.
This set had a very unique design and the client loved the way that the gold was used in it. It was a perfect fit because even though it was unique it still kept with glamour theme.
