Kravitz Design: Rock Star Glamour Meets Timeless Elegance
Kravitz Design is a conceptual creative studio founded in 2003 by acclaimed musician and designer Lenny Kravitz. The firm specializes in various design disciplines, including interiors, industrial design, branding, and graphic design, all characterized by a modern sensibility that exudes soulful elegance and a relaxed sense of style.
Since its inception, Kravitz Design has collaborated with a diverse array of clients, such as the Morgans Hotel Group, Swarovski Crystal, and The Setai Group. In 2005 and 2006, the firm participated in Swarovski’s Crystal Palace Collection, showcasing its innovative approach to design. Additionally, Kravitz Design conceptualized luxury recording studios for The Setai Resort and Residences in Miami Beach, as well as in New York, Paris, and New Orleans, reflecting the firm’s versatility and commitment to creating unique spaces.
In 2015, Kravitz Design partnered with CB2 to launch a furniture collection inspired by Kravitz’s travels and the 1970s music scene, blending elements of New York City club culture and California’s relaxed vibe. The collection featured a range of products, including lighting, wall décor, rugs, pillows, and furniture, embodying the firm’s signature aesthetic.
One notable project is the transformation of a Beverly Hills residence in the historic Trousdale Estates neighborhood. Collaborating with luxury realtor and client Williams, Kravitz Design infused the home with a maximalist style inspired by the 1970s, incorporating eclectic and bold design elements that pay homage to the area’s mid-century architectural heritage.
Kravitz Design’s work consistently reflects a harmonious blend of cultural influences, musical heritage, and refined aesthetics, establishing the firm as a distinctive presence in the design industry.
