Laure Nell Interiors is led by Laetitia Laurent who focuses on creating spaces where customers can feel inspired, refreshed, and comfortable. Mainly inspired by European form and proportion guides, the interior designer is deeply involved in all design and budget decisions to ensure the end result is the best for each client. Laetitia loves to use clean lines, organic materials, and thoughtful palettes in the projects she works on.
Vibrant European
The clients, originally from Belgium, selected Laure Nell Interiors to design a large home to accommodate their family of seven while preserving the chic European aesthetic dear to them. The firm accomplished that balance by mixing jewel tones such as rich emeralds with walnut wood paired with more streamlined elements such as large marble slabs in the bathroom and lots of white space to allow the expansive space to breathe.
In The Spotlight
When a client is a Broadway star and her husband needs a refresh of their bathrooms, the design clearly has to shine. In the master bath, Laure Nell Interiors created a zen-inspired retreat with a monochromatic palette of tonal textures and backlit mirrors that recall a dressing room. A gilded mirror takes center stage in the guest bathroom along with a blonde wood vanity and bowl-mounted sink.
Labor Of Love
Every inch of this 4,200-square-foot condo on Las Olas—two units combined into one inside the tallest building in Fort Lauderdale—is dripping with glamour, starting right away in the entrance with Phillip Jeffries’ Cloud wallpaper and crushed velvet gold chairs by Koket. Along with tearing out some of the bathrooms and installing sleek and chic new vanities, Laure Nell Interiors outfitted the residence with all the accouterments that make it perfect for the owners—two doctors without children—to enjoy an evening at home alone or entertaining friends and family.
The New Coastal
Laure Nell Interiors was brought on to design this home to have a soft ethereal aesthetic with a coastal twist. The client was looking to transition from an oversized home to an upscale two-bedroom condo that mirrors the vibrancy of the downtown lifestyle it is surrounded by. The entire home has an airy quality to it that is reminiscent of the ocean. The beaded chandeliers pair beautifully together, acting as a stunning and simple focal point of the design. A custom stone and wood built-in incorporate the natural coastal feel.
Modern Dance
Laure Nell Interiors helped their New York transplant clients find the perfect property in the Boca Bath & Tennis Club and completed a full remodel of the main house and added a pool house as well. For this project, their second with these owners, Laure Nell Interiors wanted to create a clean, minimalist and open feel so that the outdoors could blend seamlessly with the interiors and become the star—including the zebra sculpture standing outside. With the interiors, they favored subtle texture and muted palettes so that each furnishing stood on its own as a display piece.
Sea Breeze
After living in their condo for 10 years, this retired couple decided they were ready for a refresh—one that would take full advantage of their panoramic ocean views. A thoughtful palette of blue and silver hues washes over the master bedroom, den/office, guest bedroom, and all three bathrooms so that the lines between indoors and outdoors became blurred. Silky textures throughout give off a watery effect, and the wallpaper is railroaded wherever possible to emulate the ocean waves, as seen in the powder room and master bathroom.
