Yellowstone Club
When a longtime client purchased a vacation home at the exclusive Yellowstone Club, Niche Interiors couldn’t wait to customize the 7,000 square foot space for their cosmopolitan family. They layered in sophisticated contemporary furnishings in saturated jewel tones with playful patterns, hand-painted wall treatments and statement lighting for a stylish (but not too serious) mountain retreat. Sculptural sofas flank the fireplace in the formal living room with walnut and steel coffee tables and artwork by Melissa Dickenson. The warm, neutral palette continues in the dining room which features a walnut table with brass inlay, oversized artwork and a dramatic light fixture.
Telegraph Hill Residence
Niche Interiors was enlisted to furnish the interior of this newly constructed 8,000 square foot home with expansive views of the San Francisco Bay. They worked closely with the architects at Lundberg Design to ensure that the furnishings blended seamlessly with the modern architecture and restrained materials. The media room features a wool sectional and a pair of vintage Milo Baughman armchairs reupholstered in green velvet. All upholstered items were made with natural latex cushions wrapped in organic wool in order to eliminate harmful chemicals for their eco-conscious clients.

LA VIE ON LUXURY
Peninsula Estate
After purchasing a charming 1920’s home on an idyllic property in the Peninsula, clients called in Niche Interiors and Andrew Mann Architecture to reimagine the space for their growing family. These sophisticated clients were drawn to traditional details, global influences and saturated color. Niche Interiors incorporated each of these elements in an intentional way, with the goal of creating a home that was distinctive, layered and that felt collected over time.
Wine Country Retreat
Niche Interiors’ busy San Francisco clients were in search of a Napa Valley retreat to escape on the weekends with their young daughters. The furnishings blend mid-century shapes with low-profile modern pieces for a relaxed, informal vibe. Textural rugs and fabrics and hand-crafted wood pieces add warmth and layers to the space, allowing the contemporary artwork to take center stage. A variety of local artisans left their touch on the home, including a custom 11-foot long rift oak dining table with molded plywood pendant lights above. The living room is grounded by two custom eco-friendly sofas made of natural latex, organic wool, and FSC-certified wood frames.
Jackson Square
This family is not afraid of color or pattern, so Niche Interiors gave them ample doses of both! The living room features a curved sofa by Vladimir Kagan, vintage-inspired armchairs in blue velvet and an acrylic coffee table with sculptural brass legs. They transformed two niches in the dining area into a swanky bar with custom-colored mirrors and glass shelves. The “hang out room” off the living room was designed as a space for the kids to play while the grownups mingle – a custom modular sofa can be configured in multiple ways, for lounging or playing board games. They turned an outdated office into a music room by adding colorful built-in storage for housing a record collection and board games.

Coastal Retreat
When Niche Interiors’ longtime client purchased this 1950’s beach house it was outfitted with original dark wood paneling and stained glass windows. They reimagined the space to integrate the client’s modern aesthetic while bringing in more natural light and highlighting the incredible ocean views. A light, textural palette is used throughout with white oak floors and ceilings, board-formed concrete and raked white tile in the bathrooms. The interiors feature a mix of modern furniture and lighting alongside sculptural, vintage pieces that give a nod to the home’s mid-century roots.
