Spring and Summer trend: Floral Designs and Palm Trees

Summer is just around the corner so we decided to pick apart one of the hottest spring and summer trends in all fields of design: Floral designs and palm trees. The floral prints have been incorporated in major fashion collections, in furniture designs and much more. We really fell in love with this trend as it is fresh and exciting and it brings tropical vibes to even the most rainy environments.

David Hart was one of the major Fashion designers who went for the tropical palm tree trend. As you can see from this this picture of his show, the palm trend is just amazing!

Another amazing designer who embraced the floral palm tree look for spring and summer was Marcel Rochas of the design house Rochas. This look from his cruise collection presents the summery look in a perfect way! The pattern is so amazing and the general airy feeling and look make it perfect for spring and summer!Spring and Summer trend Floral Designs and Palm Trees tropical(Source: Rochas)

Now the palm tree trend moved on from the fashion world and can also be found in the interior design world. Palm trees are incorporated into designs more and more frequently in a more or less explicit way. Sometimes Just adding a few palm trees will do the trick. Other times opting for a palm print wall paper is the better option.

This ambiance shows the palm trend comes across very well if combined with similar green tones to the palm trees themselves. This makes for a harmonious interior.

Now sometimes going all out is not what you want to do. In that case maybe a more subtle approach to the trend is the right thing for you. This ambiance shows how to do that perfectly, by just using the palm print as a room highlight. Spring and Summer trend Floral Designs and Palm Trees fashion

We love the palm trend which is why our brand Essential Home also has some nature inspired lighting! They are the perfect way to incorporate the trend into your luxurious designs. First of all this Miranda table lamp underlines the tropical vibes perfectly and the brass makes it seem luxurious and exclusive.

The Ivete floor lamp is a full-on palm tree. The golden color reflects the light amazingly and gives the room an amazing feeling that we just can’t get enough of. Spring and Summer trend Floral Designs and Palm Trees palm trees

We love nature inspired designs. So the palm tree trend is something we really enjoy. Making both calm and luxurious ambiances seem more relaxing and exclusive is one of or major aims and this trends definitely helps with that.
