The latest addition to Ibiza’s thriving beach restaurant scene is the simply immaculate Casa Jondal, in the stunning bay of Cala Jondal, on Ibiza’s southern coast. World-renowned chef Rafael Zafra is known for preparing exquisite seafood with minimal preparation, using the best produce, treated with the greatest respect and expertise.

#2 – La Réserve à la Plage, Ramatuelle

The relaxed spirit of a charming cabin where a bohemian chic atmosphere, designed by Philippe Stark, combines through a charming, friendly and family-oriented experience. Imagined by Eric Canino, chef of the La Voile-starred restaurant La Réserve Ramatuelle, with the complicity of the head of the Reserve at the beach, Nicolas Cantrel, the menu celebrates a Mediterranean cuisine of sharing and freshness, generous and fragrant. Thanks to the wood-fired barbecue, beautiful pieces of meat and grilled fish of the day’s catch are in the spotlight, accompanied by fresh vegetables flavored with local aromatic herbs, some of which come from the kitchen garden of the hotel.

Republiek Bloemendaal is a beach club and event space located in the chic seaside resort of Bloemendaal aan Zee on the Dutch coast, about 30-minute driving from Amsterdam. A pop-up version of the Republiek has been a popular beach club on this coast since 1999. It was well-known for its Balinese vibe and its large Buddha watching over sunbathers. Three years ago, the owners were given permission to build a permanent location, and the brand-new permanent Republiek opened last year.

Nestled on the foreshore of the iconic Echo Beach, La Brisa is home to breathtaking décor, sustainably sourced food and genuine Balinese hospitality. The very concept of the beach club is written in the name – La Brisa – which translates to sea breeze. Wild and enchanting yet pleasantly soothing, La Brisa Bali was built using reclaimed wood from more than 500 old fisherman boats that were expertly hand decorated.
