Meraviglia was built in the famous shipyard of Saint-Nazaire, France and was delivered just a few days ago. With a capacity of 5,700 passengers, she surpasses the previous titleholder by 230. The newest luxury cruise ship is also the biggest ever built by a European-based company. And that’s not quite the only records she’s breaking!

 

Luxury holiday is the name of the game, as the ship’s facilities are many, ambitious, and guarantee high-quality entertainement to passengers who will enjoy a luxury lifestyle all along their trip. Besides a dozen of restaurants, the ship features the largest poolside space at sea, with several pools and a water park as depicted above, and a special lighting system to create visual shows at night. In terms of shows, Meraviglia is also home to Cirque du Soleil’s first sea performance, that guests will be able to enjoy will having dinner or a drink. And kids are not left aside: a big indoor amusement park is also featured.

 

As a first-class luxury cruise ship, Meraviglia also features a Swarovsky staircase, and the line’s largest VIP space (MSC Yacht Club) comprising refined suites and apartments, and private restaurants, solarium, pool and lounge.

Cutting-edge technology is also present on the Meraviglia, with cutting-edge payment systems, possibility for parents to geo-locate their children and a huge LED sky on the promenade. MSC is not joking about luxury travel!
