What To Expect From the Upcoming Art Basel 2017

Hey art and design lovers! We’ve got a new event for you: Art Basel 2017, happening on June 15-18 in Basel, Switzerland! Discover all there is to know about this new exciting art and design event.

Art Basel is a unique event that, although named after the Swiss city, actually happens in three cities around the world at different times of the year: Hong Kong in March, Basel in June and Miami in December. The Art Basel 2017, Swiss edition will happen at the end of this week, startin on June 15th and running until June 18th!

The show is one of the major international events in the artistic world, with almost 300 galleries exhibiting works by more than 4,000 artists. This, of course, includes design and places it as such as an important interior design show as well! There are also events happening around the city in parallel to the event, for a truly immersive experience.

Besides top design pieces, other artworks include painting, sculpting, digital art, edition, photography, drawing, prints and video, in a modern/contemporary style. A feast for the eyes and senses! This is the right place to dive into art and get inspired.

A wide range of activites and internal events will be featured by the show, including presentation of projects, performances, pioneering exhibition platform, focus on emerging artists… There’s enough to delight all types of audiences and sensitivities!
