Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture of Rio de Janeiro, luxury dining takes on a whole new meaning. In this bustling city where samba rhythms echo through the streets and the sun-kissed beaches allure visitors, the dining experience is elevated to a symphony of opulence. Rio de Janeiro is renowned for its dynamic fusion of traditional and contemporary influences, and this duality is beautifully reflected in this luxury dining room by Covet House.
Agra II Dining Table is an impressive display of craftsmanship and elegance. Its delicate work of the robust white stone softens the imposing structure, while touches of brass reflect golden warm tones to the polished surface. The Agra II Dining Table is the ideal modern contemporary dining table for your dining room. Agra is the modest setting of one the most famous and most celebrated monuments in the world, the Taj Mahal, also known as the marble mausoleum.
Garbo Dining Chair is a timeless modern dining chair, inspired by one of the biggest and most mysterious names on the Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame. With a unique design, heavily influenced by the classic lines of mid-century modern design, Garbo Dining Chair features a velvet upholstered seat with a removable cushion, completed by a crescent low back that is handmade in brass, and finished in plated copper. The support of the upholstered dining chair is composed of four solid walnut wood legs that sit atop copper-plated feet, for a more elegant look.
With a minimalist and industrial feeling to it, it is not, however, hard to understand where the mid-century inspiration lies. Coltrane Suspension Lamp is a simple suspended ceiling light, which is handmade in steel, inspired by the great John Coltrane. It features a steel cord and a magnetic disc at the top, while down below the canopy is built out of stainless steel, with a gold-plated finish. The shade is also made of steel but it is lacquered a matte gold on the outside and gold powder paint on the inside.
Inspired by the Art Deco movement, which peaked during the 1920s, the Dêco Rug was created, which represents the neutral collection in the best way possible. A rug full of glamour and sophistication, with an unusual shape and the addition of fringe, which you surely won’t be able to resist.
