Workshop/APD is a design and architecture firm founded in New York City in 1999 by Principals Matt Berman and Andrew Kotchen. The project we bring you today is in one of the West Village’s most stylish addresses. Chic decor meets industrial modernism in this interior design project by Workshop/APD. Designed as a part-time residence for a young family, a dramatic entry in deep gray Venetian plaster opens into an airy, expansive open-plan living area furnished in light, layered neutral tones to contrast and complement exposed brick and dark metal accents.
