Sofia Joelsson Design has restored this amazing Penthouse in South Beach, after a flood. It is conducted by Sofia Joelsson, a Swedish Native who has been increasingly prominent in Miami and in the United States. Her incredible interior design firm stands out for her meticulousness and attention to detail method on every project for every client. She perfectly combines her design identity with the vision and desire of her client.
The Sofia Joelsson Design team decided to open a kitchen, in order to create a dining room twice the size it had, also connecting with a transparent glass cellar, so the family could place their wine collection. The family wanted a more beachy and light environment, unlike what consisted of the cores of the previous house, such as dark green and wood. The new color palette was inspired by the blue of the sky and its variations, and by the color of the water, which you can see from all angles of the roof. The SJD team suggested the wooden floor, but in a porcelain material to create an easy-to-maintain unit.

Collins Dining Chair, by Essential Home, is designed with a classic retro chic feel and comes finely upholstered in velvet, supported by tapered glossy black legs with rich accents of polished brass. It has welted stitches on the seat and a stylist degree reclining on the crescent open back. The backrest is convex, allowing comfortable seating, and perfect to pair with a circular dining table.
Waterfall Rectangular Suspension is a masterpiece made with gold plated brass combined with ribbed fine tubes of crystal glass brings a natural feeling of waterfalls to any space. Everything sparkles under this elegant work of art. The glamorous sensation of water in the tubes is handmade by a glass master craftsman.
Ezra Dining Table might be one of the most unique pieces in Studiopepe’s collection for Essential Home. Inspired by the beautiful architectural lines of the iconic Italian scenario, the mid-century modern dining table was drawn from a combination of straight lines and circumferences, redefining the limits of physics and opening the world’s design horizon.
Last, but not least, the Jute rug is a modern and neutral piece made of botanic silk, with a soft presence and an even softer touch. With a pattern and texture similar to the weaving from the traditional Brazilian jute bags used for carrying and for the storage of coffee beans. It is perfect to use in a dining room.
