Living Room in a Lowry Hotel’s luxury presidential suite designed by Goodard Littlefair is the interior design inspiration we bring you today with a sweet and special musical touch.
Located in London, the Goddard Little Fair is a talented interior design studio established in 2012 by Jo Littlefair and Martin Goddard that counts with a highly trained team focused on providing the most exquisite ideas according to its client’s preferences and taste. With a keen attention to perfectionism and boundless curiosity, this interior design studio has multi-award winning projects in a context of hospitality and even residential themes.
As the Irish Times said, ‘The firm’s unique selling point is the ability to knit smart, sensual design with a healthy dose of pragmatism.’
Along with Lowry’s colour palette, the shape of Trinity Bridge (located directly outside the hotel), Manchester’s rich industrial history was the inspiration to this lovely living room project as well as to the other distinct areas in the room. This suite makes reference to Manchester’s industrial geometry and heritage and it is such a lovely place with a cosy feel with its bright tones used in the walls, curtains and carpets matching with the dark piano and the dark details in the furniture.
And that’s why today we bring you some tips of how you can transform your living room inspired by this amazing interior design project: starting with Earth Armchair, upholstered in cotton velvet. The compelling rotation of the Earth around its own axis inspired the creation of Earth Armchair designed by Brabbu. This armchair with shelter-style arms has a unique hammered brass back with golden polished nailhead trim. It is the barrel chair design piece that will make a statement in your living room; along with Lapiaz Center Table.
Boca do Lobo‘s Lapiaz Sideboard inspired this unique centre table. The french word is the name given to the typical karst formations produced by surface dissolution of limestone or dolomite rocks. It can also be caused by freezing and thawing in cold climates and this is how Lapiaz luxury coffee table emerged. Imagine a stone frozen and freshly cracked to show the entire world a rich, golden interior. The polished brass details and mirrored sides attribute this luxury design artwork an artic yet comfy and warm beauty. Definitely a statement piece for the most luxurious interior designs.
To place around Lapiaz our advice is to buy your own Wales II Sofa also designed by Brabbu. Often called the “Land of Castles”, Wales has some of the most impressive monuments of the Middle Ages. Wales II Sofa pays tribute to the country’s history. Upholstered in cotton velvet and with a base in matte vintage brass, this curved sofa features a bronze renaissance nailhead trim that makes it even more elegant for your living room.
