This magnificent living room in this residence is located near to one Knightsbridge’s most peaceful garden squares and it was meticulously refurbished by this amazing interior designer who gathered contemporary elements with a modern classic twist making it cozy but classy. And who doesn’t love elegant living rooms, right?
Girded with curving serpent forms, evocative of Medusa’s multifaceted image of intoxication, petrification and luring attractiveness, the Serpentine Chandelier designed by Koket could surely seduce all who lay eyes upon her. Iconic and unparalleled, the Boca do Lobo‘s Pixel Cabinet presents a ground-breaking work of pioneering design. This piece carries the dedication and art of those who built it, a variety of traditional production techniques to craft an avant-garde storage piece. Its playful character is captured in shape and textures. Made out of 1088 triangles, the upper part of the Pixel Cabinet plays with perception and combines an exceptional walnut root veneer, gold leaf, black lacquer, with a textured composition to give the cabinet an edgy, striking design. Behind its two doors, this bar cabinet surprises with a timeless combination of aged mirror covering an open space for finest glassware, objets d’art, or curated books; containing nine interior drawers, each one with its own golden exquisite knob. The doors are upholstered by a diamond quilted cream velvet fabric. The polished brass base gives Pixel a unique and sophisticated character and it could be the statement piece for this living room, don’t you agree?
The compelling rotation of the Earth around its own axis inspired the creation of Earth Armchair by Brabbu. Upholstered in cotton velvet, this armchair with shelter-style arms has a unique hammered brass back with golden polished nailhead trim. It is this barrel-shaped designed chair that would look beautiful in this living room.
And to finalize, following the same inspirational lines as the Crackler family, Crackle Center Table by Luxxu stands itself by the complexity of the manual work on the brass and the technique used to apply the walnut root veneer. It will fit as a hotel lobby element as well as a table for the intimacy of this living room.
