Living Room That Calms Your Mind with its harmonious colors
Charles Zana, born in Tunisia in the 60s, moved to Paris while he was still a child with his family. All his younghood was surrounded by art since his father was an art collector. He went to the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris to study architecture and after he finished his studies, he moved to New York where he worked at several studios of architecture and design. A few years later he moved back to the French capital and, in 1990, he founded his own design and architecture company – Charles Zana Architecture.
Zana’s has a great love for the arts and design, and there’s something we can find in his unmistakable style where he mixes bold and luxurious at the same time. Referencing sculpture, abstraction, drawing, and installation art, for each project Charles Zana writes a new story, giving it greater conceptual value. Beyond the profession of architect or designer, Charles Zana offers “curated stories” interiors, artistic and full of meaning, but also warm and responsive to the lives of the occupants.
This living room project in Faubourg Saint-Germain, Paris is one of the many projects he designed over the years. This living room, with soft and harmonious colors, is every interior design lover’s dream!
And to inspire you, we present you with some options that we believe would fit perfectly in this living room project, without ever making it losing his essence and style. The Latza Center Table by Brabbu, features a top in walnut root veneer with a matte varnish and details in matte hammered brushed aged brass would look amazing, don’t you agree? Another amazing fit would be the Colombia Armchair by Caffe Latte, made from boucle fabric and dark bronze matte.
